COMMON QUESTIONS

Where are my draws stored?

On your device. DrawBit does not use iCloud or any server. If you delete the app, your draws are deleted with it. To keep a copy, export your work — PNG for a still, GIF or APNG for an animation — and save it where you'd like.

How do I export at a specific size?

Tap the share button. You can choose a format (PNG, GIF, APNG, sprite sheet, or film) and a size before exporting.

Why does my exported image look pixelated when I open it?

That's intentional. DrawBit uses nearest-neighbor scaling so pixels stay sharp. Some viewers apply smoothing — try opening the PNG in another viewer or at 100% zoom.

Can I import an existing image to edit?

You can import a photo to trace: it sits dimmed behind the canvas, and the eyedropper can pick colors from it. The photo stays a reference — it can't be edited as pixels and never appears in exports.

What is the FILM export?

Every draw records a time-lapse of its making as you work. Tap the share button and choose FILM to export it as a video. Like everything else, the recording stays on your device.

Does DrawBit support iPhone?

DrawBit is currently iPad-only.

Is there a subscription or in-app purchase?

No. DrawBit is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or ads.
