PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: July 10, 2026

DrawBit is a pixel-art app for iPad. This policy describes what data the app handles. It is short because the app does very little with your data.

DATA WE COLLECT

None.

DrawBit does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or device identifiers. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no server.

WHERE YOUR WORK IS STORED

All artwork you create in DrawBit is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage (SwiftData). It never leaves your device unless you choose to share or export a file yourself.

If you delete the app, your artwork is deleted with it.

PERMISSIONS

DrawBit requests one iOS permission:

Photo Library (Add Only). Used only when you tap Share and choose "Save Image." This grants the app permission to write a file you exported. It does not grant permission to read your existing photos.

Reference photos. Choosing a photo to trace uses Apple's photo picker, which requires no permission: the app receives only the single photo you select and nothing else from your library. That photo is stored on your device with the draw, like your artwork, and is never included in exports.

SHARING YOUR WORK

When you tap Share, DrawBit hands the exported file (PNG, GIF, APNG, sprite sheet, or video) to the standard iOS share sheet. From there, iOS — not DrawBit — handles where the file goes. Anything you do from the share sheet (Save to Photos, AirDrop, Mail, Messages, etc.) is governed by the privacy policies of those destinations and Apple.

THIRD PARTIES

DrawBit does not use any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or trackers.

CHILDREN

DrawBit does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If this policy changes, the new version will replace the current one and the effective date at the top will be updated.
