The short version
Sleeps does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information — not from grown-ups and not from children. There is no sign-up, no login, and no profile.
There are no advertisements, no third-party analytics, and no tracking or advertising SDKs in the app. Nothing about how you use Sleeps is measured or sent anywhere.
Every countdown you create is stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, your countdowns also sync across your own Apple devices through Apple's iCloud, using a private database tied to your Apple Account.
That data lives in your personal iCloud. The developer has no server that receives it and no ability to read it.
If you turn on reminders for a countdown, the notifications are scheduled locally on your device. There is no push server and nothing about your reminders leaves the device.
Made for kids
Sleeps is designed for children and follows Apple's Kids Category guidelines and children's privacy laws, including COPPA and GDPR-K.
The details
None. On Apple's privacy questionnaire, Sleeps is labeled “Data Not Collected.”
The only third party involved is Apple, whose iCloud service optionally syncs your countdowns between your own devices under Apple's Privacy Policy. No other third parties receive any data.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
